  Pistolpete if you read all of Matt 24 to them and tell them it is the truth, they will just say 'no it is not because it came out of your mouth.'

  You see it must come from the right channel. Therefore, if it not in the Watchtower, read by someone who, however immoral, is in good standing, then it is not the 'truth.'

  Also their 'truth' has a use by date on it. About 0.5 of a nano second after it has been uttered. Then it becomes old light which may or may not be part of God's (for God's read GB's) purpose depending on how useful it is to them looking backwards.

  So... if they say it's a miracle... tomorrow they might say that was old light and it was all God's fault for misleading them.

  They don't get you to prove yourself in exchange for love. There is no love there. Once you have jumped through one hoop for them, the immediately get out another hoop. So your reward is the next hoop. There is no rest on their endless schedule.

  Congregation Letter - 2021 Magazines Delayed???

  we had a letter read in our cong.

  last week that said the public wt and awake would be delayed during the beginning of 2021. meaning we would just use the 2020 version into 2021 and there would be no new ones at the beginning of 2021 until an undetermined time sometime during the 1st half of 2021. at least that is the gist that i remember.

  it was in what atlantis provided but there was no further detail....very brief.. any more intel or speculation on this?

  They may lose members but once people know what they really get up to, they are given the same level of attention as a successful soap opera.

  I am surprised you ask but I have assumed you have heard of George Orwell's 1984 because it is well known.

  Orwell's novel, 1984 describes the Ministry of Truth which Orwell based on the BBC. Behind the scenes Big Brother manipulated everything using newspeak and double think. The Ministry of Truth was Big Brother's platform for giving out information to control everyone.

  1984 is supposed to be a criticism of the left from the left. Many feel it reflects the way Watchtower acts. I added in the information about Jimmy Savile because this man (in the UK) had a bad reputation among his colleagues in the BBC but nothing was ever done about him. Given what we have learnt about Watchtower's cover ups from the Australian Royal commission etc I thought I'd add it in.

  I have just read that Jimmy Savile's close associate the Yorkshire Ripper has died. There are reports that the Yorkshire Ripper studied with Watchtower publishers.

  George Orwell's 1984 was to be called 1948 but he and/or his publishers felt that would panic the readers. What he was saying would sound too close to home.

  The British Broadcasting Corporation was Orwell's Ministry of Truth. The one in charge of everything was Big Brother. Big Brother used the Ministry of Truth to make people believe:-

  “War is peace.
  Freedom is slavery.
  Ignorance is strength.”

  "In the end the Party would announce that two and two made five, and you would have to believe it. It was inevitable that they should make that claim sooner or later: the logic of their position demanded it. Not merely the validity of experience, but the very existence of external reality was tacitly denied by their philosophy. The heresy of heresies was common sense."

  In UK the British Broadcasting Corporation gave us both Childline (a phone line for vulnerable children) and Jimmy Saville (a notorious pervert and child predator).
